Sen

Yabu Pushelberg, 2025

A lounge chair that appears to spring to life from a fountainhead. This is Sen. A design by renowned Canadian/American studio Yabu Pushelberg, that sources inspiration from a deep well of the dynamic and progressive design history of Leolux.

Rhythmic movement

Yabu Pushelberg and Leolux share a talent for shaping sculptural forms that can turn the functional into the artistic. Sen embodies this aptitude through its two inverted ‘U’ silhouettes, evoking the rhythmic movement of cascading water as it flows upward, downward, and side to side.

Flexible complexity

The channeled structure creates depth and movement with simple lines that betray the complexity of craft needed to achieve them.

'SEN' BY YABU PUSHELBERG

The absolute premiere on the Milan stand is the new Sen lounge chair, a design that immediately evokes a feeling. This is no coincidence, as the designers at the Canadian design studio Yabu Pushelberg were inspired by Leolux's dynamic and progressive design history. The chair consists of two inverted U-shaped silhouettes, within which the same shape is repeated four times, each time one step larger. This repetition is reminiscent of ripples on water. A rhythmic movement that brings an aesthetic calm to the design.

Neutral and expressive

The chair has the flexibility to flow into design schemes with a neutral palette or become the scene stealer with a bold choice. The seat and back can be upholstered in different materials.
